about sue

I am a UKCP accredited psychotherapist with a Diploma in Core Process Psychotherapy. I offer a safe confidential space where we can explore how you relate to yourself and others to find new ways of being in the world. I believe that there is an inherent health within us all, which has been lost as we each dealt with difficult life situations and developed coping strategies, which served us well in the past. These strategies and habits can however get rather frozen and limiting over time and by working together, in a safe non-judgemental way can be explored in a gentle way that allows new possibilities to emerge.

As a  volunteer children's  bereavement worker at the Dorothy House Hospice near Bath I also help children and young people come to terms with the loss of loved ones in their family. With this experience I bring some understanding of how we can turn to loving life even in midst of some of our greatest suffering.  It is about touching into those places where we most yearn to be met. I also work as a leadership coach and creative catalyst for the nowhere group where I work with releasing the creative potential of life within individuals and teams in organisations. I have just completed an international study on the repair of trust in organisations, which seems a key issue for all of us in our current economic climate.

Previously trained in in Gestalt in Organisations and in Systemic Organisational Constellations I have considerable experience in working with issues of difficult relationships and our need to find greater purpose and meaning to life. I also have a PhD in Social Psychology and twenty years of experience of working with notions of helping individuals discover more creative and compassionate approaches in life.
